Frank is the President and Founder of Ryco Financial Inc. He has been successful in financial services for over 35 years, holds the 5-Star Master Builder designation with Manulife Financial, and was a Qualifying and Lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). Frank works with his personal clients to achieve their financial goals through advising on investments and insurance planning. With his corporate clients, Frank focuses on providing advice on group insurance and retirement solutions.
Most Recently, Frank was awarded the National Leadership and Service Award for 2021, the Top Insurance and Insured Investments Advisor in Atlantic Canada from Manulife Wealth Insurance Services Inc. 2020, and Top Insured Investments Advisor in 2021 and 2022.
Away from the business, Frank’s passion for the outdoors has led him to enjoy hunting, fishing, and berry picking depending on the season.
Frank and his wife, Heather, have been married for over 30 years and have two sons, Darren and Frank J., and now five grandchildren!
Darren is the Insurance and Estate Planning Subject Matter Expert at Ryco Financial. He was appointed to Manulife's Insurance Advisory Council & Digital Advisory Council in 2019. He's a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table at Top of the Table in 2021, the Advocacy Chair of the Advocis NL Chapter, and a member of the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU).
Darren has been providing professional financial advice for more than 10 years and is licensed across Canada. Darren completed his CFP® designation in 2015, he was awarded the Young Advisor Award by the Knowledge Bureau in 2016, and in 2017 he was awarded the Dunstall Award for completing his CLU with the highest marks in NL. Most recently, Darren was named Top 40 under 40 Rising Stars by Wealth Professional Canada Magazine.
Darren focuses his practice on helping professionals meet their investment goals and insurance needs, with a special segment of his practice tailored towards Physicians and Healthcare Professionals.
Aside from work, Darren is an avid hockey player and a hopeful Maple Leafs fan. He enjoys travelling, exploring new places, and hunting and fishing with his family. He and his wife, Ashley, have two beautiful children named Chloe and Owen.

Frank was awarded the National Associate Advisor Award in 2018, 2019, and 2020 by Manulife Wealth Insurance Services Inc., and was appointed to Manulife's Insured Investments Advisory Council in 2019. He won the Knowledge Bureau's New Advisor Award at the Distinguished Advisor Conference in 2020, and was named a Fellow of Distinguished Financial Services (FDFS) in 2023.
Frank joined Ryco in 2016 following a five-year career as a Geoscientist in the energy industry. His diverse background of science and business gives him a unique perspective in understanding and implementing financial strategies aligned with client's goals and objectives. As a matter of fact, many of his clients operate in the natural resource sector.
Aside from work, you can find Frank practicing folk songs on his guitar, on the ice with his hockey team, or in the woods enjoying Newfoundland's wilderness. Frank and his wife Heather now have a little boy named Charles, and twin girls named Maggie and Beth! And, he is also optimistic about the future of the Maple Leafs.
Heather has been a marketing assistant at Ryco for 15 years and plays an integral role in servicing our existing clients with their personal and group, insurance and investment needs. Altogether, she has 30 years of experience in office administration and payroll.
Aside from work, Heather enjoys baking and cooking for family and friends, travelling, and staying active.
Often referred to as the "Chief Introductory Officer", Regina brings value to Ryco for her background in communication and group benefits servicing. She has accumulated a wealth of knowledge over the past 20 years that she puts to use for our Group Insurance and Pension clients.

Heather joined the team at Ryco in 2021 and has rapidly grown into our Team Lead of Operations. She has a combined background in business and social sciences as she graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in sociology.
Heather completed the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) in 2022 to improve her knowledge of the financial sector and better support Ryco's insurance and investment teams. She's currently completing the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS®) designation courses, and she continues to grow and develop her business acumen and leadership savvy through on-the-job learning and third party training.
Kaitlyn joined Ryco early in 2024 and brings five years of industry experience to her role as our Team Lead of Investments and Insurance. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Management/Security from the College of the North Atlantic.
Kaitlyn has completed both the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) and the Canadian Investment Funds Course (Mutual Funds License) and is currently working on her Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. The CFP® certification is the world’s most recognized financial planning designation and is considered the ‘gold standard’ for the profession.
In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys being outdoors with her dog, cooking for friends and going to the gym.
Tia joined the team at Ryco in December of 2022 as our Office Administrative Assistant.
Since she began at Ryco she has been enjoying learning about the investment and insurance sectors and works hard to help her fellow colleagues. She completed the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) in 2023 to improve her knowledge of the financial sector and better support Ryco's insurance and investment teams. Now, she's currently completing the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS®) designation courses.
In her spare time, Tia enjoys taking walks with her dog at Bowering Park, and spending time with friends and family.
Nick joined Ryco Financial in the summer of 2022 as an associate advisor to enhance service to Ryco’s clients. Since recently completing a bachelor of commerce at Memorial University, Nick has enjoyed his role working with and learning from Ryco’s team. Through continued education and training, Nick strives to provide the trusted advice that Ryco is known for to family, friends, and hard-working folks alike.

Steve joined Ryco Financial Inc. in 2007 after seven years working in national and international sales and marketing positions in the NL seafood industry. With support from a team of investment, insurance and administrative specialists, Steve is able to focus on helping his business and personal clients develop and maintain sound investment and insurance plans that fit their needs now and as their life situations evolve.
When not meeting with current or prospective clients, Steve can be found in a gym or a rink with his two children, Will and Ella. And, he is expecting big things again this year from his Boston Bruins.
Sarah joined the team at Ryco in August of 2024 as our Office Administrative & Advisor Assistant.
Sarah graduated university with a Bachelor of Commerce at Memorial University with a focus in accounting. Following her studies, she worked at an accounting firm, where she developed her financial knowledge. After several years in accounting, she transitioned to finance, driven by a desire to broaden her expertise and explore new opportunities in financial planning and investment management.
Aside from work, Sarah enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping, and going on walks/hikes.
